VIDEO: Teary Hasselbeck Apologizes to DWTS’ Erin Andrews

UPDATE: Erin Andrews says she’s never received that so-called apology from Hasselbeck.

Seeing Elisabeth Hasselbeck cry is something we’re all used to by now. (Remember that heated debate with Whoopi Goldberg on the use of the “N-word”?) But it’s not often that we see The View co-host cry over something she did.

While discussing the latest Dancing with the Stars events yesterday, the outspoken conservative felt the need to speak out about contestant Erin Andrews’ ballroom wardrobe. Elisabeth - who was for some reason shocked by the amount of skin the contestant had been showing lately (does she not watch the show on a regular basis?) - thought it would be appropriate to bring up the ESPN reporter’s stalking scandal.

“I mean, in some way if I’m [Michael David Barrett], I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’” Hasselbeck joked.

VIDEO: Did FOX, ABC Ban Cleavage-Filled Commercial?

Although the world should be used to seeing women parading around in their bras by now, there’s one thing Lane Bryant commercials have that Victoria’s Secret spots don’t: large breasts.

And when you have large breasts, you get lots of cleavage. And when you have lots of cleavage, you supposedly get banned by ABC and FOX.

According to Lane Bryant, a clothing company for full-figured women, both Victoria’s Secret-friendly networks rejected requests to air the ad. “It certainly appears to be discrimination against full-sized women,” one source told the New York Post. A Lane Bryant rep added. “There’s no difference other than they’re bigger girls.”

Needless to say, these accusations now have ABC and FOX both crying foul.

Watch Kate Gosselin’s Final Tears on DWTS

While I’m sure this will not be the last time you see the self-admitted “crybaby” reduced to tears, I do believe this will be the last time you see crying while wearing a gown her kids might have ripped up.

As you watch her give her final goodbye on last night’s , ask yourself this: What did you believe more - Kate’s disappointment about being let go or Tony Dovolani’s sweet speech?

Ryan Seacrest Jokes About Former Idol Co-Host

Brian Dunkleman and Ryan SeacrestDoes anyone wonder what ever happened to co-host Brian Dunkleman? Current host with a million jobs, Ryan Seacrest, took it upon himself to bring this to light when he joked about his former co-worker on this past week’s episode.

Ryan joked that Dunkleman would appear in next week’s special; the audience applauded, failing to sense that Seacrest was joking. Dunkleman didn’t find anything funny about Seacrest’s remark:

“Yeah, I think so, sure—but it was a joke. Well, it was an attempt at a joke. But unfortunately for Ryan, instead of a laugh, he got applause. That’s never really been his strong suit. But it was a joke, and whether it was mean-spirited or not is irrelevant. A joke’s a joke; you can either take it or you can’t.”

No worries from Dunkleman, though—he almost seems numb to the jokes by now:

Ratings: American Idol Drops to Number Two

American Idol logoFor the first time in show history, American Idol is getting beat in the ratings war by a rival reality TV series. On Monday, March 29, approximately 23 million viewers watched . That number barely edged out the singing contest, which drew a paltry 22 million for Tuesday’s performance round.

The two shows don’t appeal to exactly the same demographic, which is why advertisements on Idol cost three times more than those on DWTS (roughly, according to Vote For the Worst calculations, Idol earns a cool $28 million per episode), but Dancing‘s sudden dominance could shake a few things up.

Is Idol a sinking ship? Or this only a minor blip in an otherwise perfect season? Stay up to date on all the news, spoilers and gossip - check out all our posts.
